How the CVE Works
CVE-2025-24936 is a critical command injection vulnerability in a web application that allows unfiltered user input to be passed directly to an underlying OS command. The vulnerable component is network-exposed, making it accessible to remote attackers. A low-privileged attacker can exploit this flaw to execute arbitrary commands on the server with the privileges of the webserver process. The lack of input validation or sanitization enables attackers to inject malicious payloads, leading to full system compromise.
