How the CVE Works
CVE-2025-30758 exploits an insecure direct object reference (IDOR) vulnerability in the Siebel CRM End User interface (versions 25.0-25.5). An unauthenticated attacker can send crafted HTTP requests to bypass access controls and retrieve restricted CRM data. The flaw stems from improper validation of user-supplied input in UI components, allowing unauthorized read operations. The attack vector is network-based, requiring no user interaction, and impacts confidentiality by exposing sensitive customer records or transactional data.
