How the CVE Works
CVE-2025-8876 is an Improper Input Validation flaw in N-able N-central that enables OS Command Injection. Attackers can exploit this by sending crafted malicious input to vulnerable endpoints, bypassing input sanitization. Due to insufficient validation, arbitrary commands execute with the privileges of the N-central service, leading to full system compromise. The vulnerability stems from unsanitized user-supplied data passed directly to system shell commands.
