How the CVE Works
CVE-2025-2450 is a critical remote code execution vulnerability in NI Vision Builder AI (VBAI) due to improper handling of script execution in VBAI files. Attackers can craft malicious files that, when opened, execute arbitrary code without user warnings. The flaw stems from insufficient validation during file processing, allowing embedded scripts to run in the current user’s context. Exploitation requires user interaction (e.g., opening a malicious file), but successful attacks lead to full system compromise.
