How the CVE Works
CVE-2025-22473 is an Improper Neutralization of Special Elements vulnerability in Dell SmartFabric OS10 Software (versions 10.5.4.x to 10.6.0.x). A local attacker with low privileges can inject malicious commands into system functions due to insufficient input sanitization. This allows arbitrary command execution under elevated privileges, leading to full system compromise. The flaw stems from improper handling of user-supplied input in CLI or API parameters, where crafted payloads bypass filtering mechanisms.
