How the CVE Works
The SureForms WordPress plugin (versions ≤ 1.7.3) is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection due to improper input validation in the `delete_entry_files()` function. The function uses `file_exists()` without restricting the path parameter, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject serialized PHP objects. While the plugin lacks a viable Property-Oriented Programming (POP) chain, exploitation becomes critical if another plugin/theme introduces one. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary file deletion, data exposure, or remote code execution, depending on the available POP chain.
