How the CVE Works
CVE-2025-53541 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Tuleap Community and Enterprise Editions. Attackers with artifact manipulation privileges can inject malicious JavaScript payloads into parent-child artifact relationships. When victims view the affected artifacts, the payload executes in their browser session, potentially leading to session hijacking, data theft, or unauthorized actions. The flaw arises from insufficient input sanitization in the artifact children display module.
