How CVE-2025-4080 Works
The vulnerability exists in `/admin/view-request.php` due to improper sanitization of the `viewid` parameter. Attackers can inject malicious SQL queries through this parameter, manipulating database operations. Since no input validation or prepared statements are implemented, the application directly concatenates user-supplied data into SQL queries. Remote attackers exploit this by crafting specially crafted HTTP requests containing SQL payloads, potentially leading to unauthorized data access, modification, or deletion. The lack of authentication checks in the affected component further escalates the risk.
