Patient Record Management System 10, SQL Injection, CVE-2025-4021 (Critical)

Listen to this Post

How CVE-2025-4021 Works

The vulnerability exists in `/edit_spatient.php` due to improper sanitization of the `ID` parameter. An attacker can inject malicious SQL queries via this parameter, manipulating database operations. Since the system fails to validate user input, crafted payloads can bypass authentication, extract sensitive patient records, or execute arbitrary database commands. The attack is remotely exploitable with low complexity, requiring only a single HTTP request. The CVSS 4.0 vector (AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:L/VI:L/VA:L) confirms network-based exploitation with high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
