How the CVE Works
CVE-2025-5463 is an information disclosure vulnerability in Ivanti Connect Secure (before v22.7R2.8) and Ivanti Policy Secure (before v22.7R1.5). The flaw occurs due to improper logging mechanisms, where sensitive data is written to log files in cleartext. A local authenticated attacker can access these logs, potentially exposing credentials, session tokens, or other confidential information. The vulnerability stems from insufficient sanitization of logged data, allowing unintended exposure of sensitive details.
