How the Mentioned CVE Works
CVE-2025-36149 is a Clickjacking (UI Redress) vulnerability in IBM Concert. The application fails to implement adequate frame-busting or Content Security Policy (CSP) protections. An attacker can craft a malicious HTML page that embeds the Concert application within a transparent iframe. By carefully positioning deceptive UI elements over the embedded application’s clickable areas, the attacker can hijack a user’s clicks. When an authenticated user visits the attacker’s page, their interactions are redirected to perform unintended actions within the Concert application, such as changing permissions or deleting data, without their knowledge or consent, as the user believes they are clicking on elements from the attacker’s decoy page.
