How the mentioned CVE works:
The vulnerability exists within the User module configuration, specifically in the handling of the ‘computed field’ parameter. This input is improperly sanitized before being processed. An authenticated attacker can craft a malicious payload and inject it into this parameter. The application unsafely evaluates the contents of this field, allowing the injected code to be executed on the underlying server. This occurs because user-supplied input is passed to a function that interprets it as a system command or script, rather than treating it as static data. Consequently, the attacker achieves remote code execution with the privileges of the web server, potentially leading to a full compromise of the host system.
