The CVE-2025-XXXX vulnerability in CodeIgniter4’s ImageMagick handler allows command injection via user-controlled input in the `resize()` or `text()` methods. When processing maliciously crafted input, the library fails to properly sanitize shell arguments passed to ImageMagick’s underlying commands. Attackers can inject arbitrary system commands through manipulated image metadata or text parameters, leading to remote code execution (RCE) on the server. The exploit leverages improper escaping in the `convert` or `mogrify` command-line calls, allowing OS-level command injection.
