Listen to this Post

How the CVE Works

CVE-2025-21007 is an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in `libsavsvc.so` affecting Android versions prior to Android 15. The flaw occurs due to improper handling of uninitialized memory, allowing local attackers to trigger memory corruption. By crafting malicious input, an attacker can exploit uninitialized pointers or buffer boundaries, leading to arbitrary code execution or system crashes. The vulnerability stems from insufficient validation in memory operations within the library, enabling attackers to overwrite adjacent memory regions.
