How the CVE Works
CVE-2025-30666 is a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in Zoom Workplace Apps for Windows. When an authenticated user sends a specially crafted network request, the application fails to handle a NULL pointer check, leading to a crash. This results in a denial of service (DoS) condition, disrupting service availability. The flaw occurs due to improper validation of input data in a network-facing component, allowing an attacker to trigger the vulnerability remotely.
