How CVE-2025-29648 Works
This SQL injection vulnerability in TP-Link EAP120 (v1.0) occurs due to improper sanitization of user-supplied input in the login dashboard. An attacker can craft malicious SQL queries in the username or password fields, which are then executed by the backend database. The lack of input validation allows bypassing authentication or extracting sensitive data. The issue is disputed because it was only reproduced on a supplier-provided emulator with disabled access controls, but real-world exploitation remains possible if similar misconfigurations exist.

Protection:
