How the CVE Works
Soosyze CMS 2.0 lacks rate-limiting and account lockout mechanisms on the `/user/login` endpoint, enabling brute-force attacks. Attackers can submit unlimited login attempts with different passwords, exploiting weak credentials to gain unauthorized access. Since no delays or IP-based restrictions are enforced, automated tools can rapidly test credentials without detection. This weakness (CWE-307) allows attackers to compromise admin accounts, leading to full system control.
