Qualcomm WLAN Host, Memory Corruption Vulnerability, CVE-2025-27051 (Critical)

Listen to this Post

How the CVE Works

CVE-2025-27051 is a critical memory corruption vulnerability in Qualcomm’s WLAN Host firmware. It occurs when processing specially crafted command messages, leading to improper memory handling. Attackers can exploit this flaw by sending malicious packets over Wi-Fi, triggering heap or stack corruption. This allows arbitrary code execution at the kernel level, compromising the entire system. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input validation in the WLAN command handler, where oversized or malformed messages cause buffer overflows. Successful exploitation grants full device control, enabling data theft, persistence, or network propagation.
