Qualcomm Multiple Chipsets, Incorrect Authorization Vulnerability, CVE-2025-XXXX (Critical)

Listen to this Post

The vulnerability (CWE-863) in Qualcomm chipsets arises due to improper authorization checks in firmware handling network packets. Attackers can exploit this flaw by sending specially crafted packets to affected devices, bypassing security restrictions and executing arbitrary code with elevated privileges. The issue stems from missing validation in the modem firmware, allowing unauthenticated remote attackers to gain control over the device’s baseband processor.
