How the CVE Works
The vulnerability exists in QQBot’s `/echo` command, which fails to sanitize platform-specific control tags like <qqbot-at-everyone />. Normally, regular users cannot use this tag to mention all group members (@全体成员), but the bot has elevated privileges to do so. By injecting the tag into the `/echo` command, an attacker forces the bot to broadcast an unauthorized mass mention. Since the bot echoes input without validation, the platform interprets the tag as a legitimate mention, bypassing user permission checks. This allows low-privileged users to abuse the bot’s privileges for spam or disruption.
