How the CVE Works
The Python-Future module (v1.0.0) automatically imports `test.py` if present in the working directory or sys.path. This unintended behavior occurs due to insecure default import mechanisms. An attacker can place a malicious `test.py` file in a directory where Python-Future is executed, leading to arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the Python process. The module fails to validate imports, enabling this unsafe loading of user-controlled scripts.
