How CVE-2025-28072 Works
The vulnerability exists in `manage-teachers.php` due to improper input validation. Attackers exploit directory traversal by manipulating file path parameters (e.g., ../../) to access restricted files outside the web root. The system fails to sanitize user-supplied paths, allowing unauthorized read/write operations. This can lead to sensitive data exposure (e.g., /etc/passwd, config files) or remote code execution if combined with file upload flaws.
