How CVE-2025-7021 Works
This vulnerability exploits the Fullscreen API in OpenAI Operator SaaS by overlaying a deceptive fullscreen interface mimicking legitimate browser controls. Attackers inject a fake UI element (e.g., a cookie consent banner) to mask the browser’s fullscreen notification, tricking users into entering sensitive data. The malicious page captures input via JavaScript while obscuring visual cues, enabling credential theft without triggering security warnings.
