How the CVE Works
CVE-2025-54397 is a vulnerability in Netwrix Directory Manager (formerly Imanami GroupID) versions 11.0.0.0 to 11.1.25162.01, where sensitive data is improperly included in responses sent to authenticated users. This occurs due to insufficient input validation and improper data handling, allowing attackers with valid credentials to access unintended information. The flaw stems from the application failing to filter or redact confidential details before transmitting them in API responses or logs. Attackers can exploit this by sending crafted requests, extracting session tokens, passwords, or configuration data embedded in server replies.
