Listen to this Post

How the CVE Works:

CVE-2025-7762 is a critical stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in D-Link DI-8100 firmware version 16.07.26A1. The flaw resides in the HTTP Request Handler component, specifically within the `/menu_nat_more.asp` endpoint. Attackers can exploit this by sending a crafted HTTP request with oversized input, overflowing the fixed-size stack buffer. This allows arbitrary code execution under the context of the web server, potentially leading to full device compromise. The vulnerability is remotely exploitable without authentication, increasing its severity.
