How CVE-2025-5580 Works
This critical SQL injection vulnerability exists in CodeAstro Real Estate Management System 1.0 due to improper input sanitization in the `email` parameter of /login.php. Attackers can inject malicious SQL queries through crafted email inputs during authentication. The system fails to validate or escape user-supplied data before concatenating it into SQL statements, allowing unauthorized database access. Remote exploitation is possible without authentication, potentially leading to data theft, authentication bypass, or complete system compromise. The vulnerability stems from insecure coding practices where raw user input is directly passed to backend database queries.
