Listen to this Post

How the CVE Works

CVE-2025-50151 exploits improper validation of file access paths in Apache Jena (up to v5.4.0). Administrators can upload configuration files containing malicious paths, allowing attackers to overwrite or read arbitrary system files. The vulnerability stems from insufficient sanitization of user-supplied paths in configuration uploads, leading to unauthorized file system access.
